Palio dei Lumi di Santo Stefano
Between August and September. The "Palio dei Lumi" is a tournament very similar to the Florentine Historical Football, even if less violent and decidedly more spectacular. It is played by teams that take the name and colors of the four districts where the country is divided: Centro Paese (black-white), Ponte Nuovo (yellow-green), Ponte Vecchio (black-red), Rialto (orange-green) . The semi-finals are played on the last Sunday of August, while the final on September 8th. In conjunction with the "Palio dei Lumi" there is also a historical re-enactment.
