Description of the Festival
The pods are nothing more than the beans younger and smaller and are excellent to eat raw, accompanied with a good fresh pecorino. This event was founded in 1975. It is the Sporiano Polisportiva that takes care of the organization and its members are committed to doing most of the work, but also part of the country collaborates and gets busy. The pods are served fresh seasoned with extra-virgin olive oil together with pecorino or finocchiona.
CHEESE AND PODS: Cold dish prepared with salted pods and seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and pecorino tocchetti.
